The Brief

How do you capture the magic of the cosmos in a physical brand? Luna Beadwork needed an identity that bridged the gap between traditional Red River Métis beadwork and a deeply celestial, astrological aesthetic. The goal was to elevate the brand out of the standard "handmade craft" category and position it as a premium, high-end jewelry boutique that honors slow fashion and intentional creation.

The Visual Strategy: Midnight Magic

To create a sense of mystery and elegance, I built a "Midnight Boutique" aesthetic. Grounded in a rich, heavy Dark Charcoal, the palette uses soft Lilac and warm Cream to create a glowing, starry-night effect. I paired elegant, editorial typography with custom celestial illustrations. Because the artisan is a Pisces, I integrated the Pisces constellation directly into the brand's visual ecosystem alongside custom moons, stars, and crystals. This deeply personal touch visually communicates the brand's core philosophy: "Red River Métis beadwork, guided by the stars."

The Ecosystem & Packaging

Because beadwork is incredibly tactile, the physical touchpoints had to reflect the heirloom quality of the jewelry. I translated the celestial digital identity into a luxury unboxing experience. From stamped artisanal bags to custom slide-out earring boxes, every piece of collateral was designed to make the client feel like they were receiving a stunning piece of wearable art woven with cosmic intention.
